Street Party

On 29th April 2011 in conjunction with Dunbeg & Kilwarlin Residents Association and Hillsborough Working Together we held a very successful Street Party to celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton.

The event started with a Fancy Dress Parade from Hillsborough Village Center led by Hillsborough Protestant Boys' Flute Band to the area in front of Hillsborough Castle where the rest of the festivities took place.

Refreshments were laid on at tables in the Square with entertaiment given by Garvey Silver Band and children entertained by Aldo , face painters and bouncy castles. A tea dance was also taking place in the Market House with music by Housty.

We would like to thank all the Businesses and individuals who contributed towards the event in any way and most of all those who were able to attend and make it a most memorable day for all.
